Join us Monday, September 16th for two memorable events. Starting at 6:00pm we will formally dedicate the front gardens to two people who have made an impact on history near and far. Elsie Swanberg was a long- time area resident who had a passion for history and preservation. General Herbert Vogel was born and raised in Chelsea and was part of the Vogel family – early area settlers who are still active locally.
At 7:00 that same evening…we will have the September meeting & presentation. Appropriately, the presentation will be on the remarkable life and career of Chelsea’s Herbert Vogel. The speaker will be Steven J. Wright, a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. Open to all!
Need another reason to attend the September 16th Meeting and Presentation? How about 3 more?! Please join us then for three very big great news announcements!!!
